Zencore is now available for purchase here

http://weirdmonger.blog-city.com/nemonymous_seven.htm

if anyone is interested. My story is called (mumble...mumble...mumble). Sorry, can't say or I'd have to destroy the world.

At 7 GB Pounds it's a cracking read, and at the moment you even get a free Nemo 5 thrown in. Support the small press!

There's a Nemonymous Zencore review been posted here:

http://www.ookami.co.uk/html/zencore.html

Obviously, I can't say if my tale has been mentioned, but the comment '...one of the best anthologies of the year' is not to be sniffed at.

It's a great anthology (I'd recommend it even if I weren't in it) and hardly pricey at 200 pages or so...

I've heard great things.

What's Des like to work with?

Most excellent. He suggested a couple of minor revisions otherwise the story was accepted as was. Communication was spot-on, too, which is always nice...

There's a new Nemonymous Zencore review here...

http://www.tangentonline.com/index.php?opt...1113&Itemid=263

Am I leaping in the air with joy all critically acclaimed? Am I suicidal at being cruelly lashed? Only time will tell... :-)

I do love the concept of this anthology...quite cool. Nice review, Steven. I suspect you should be "jumping for joy."

If only I could say, matron :-)

Thanks, Fran... hugs from this way too...

Darrell, Des is being less harsh with Zencore - with the previous Nemos, both titles and authors remained anonymous until much later. A great idea, I think, very unusual.

Des is giving away free Nemos here...

http://www.ookami.co.uk/forumpage/viewtopic.php?t=3323

and here...

http://www.ttapress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=279&start=0

if anyone fancies applying for one. I have all the previous issues (apart from six, which was not only anonymous but didn't actually contain any pages either, which is about as surreal a publication as you can imagine) and they're all worth reading...

We always like to see what he's up to. Certainly different.

Great discussions on No 6.

Zencore is defrocked...

I can now reveal my story was Mary's Gift, the Stars, and Frank's Pisser, which is all rather charming, I suppose... tongue.gif

It was well received in reviews and won an honourable mention in the Year's Best Fantasy and Horror

I've grouped together what was said about my story here:

http://www.sk.pirie.btinternet.co.uk/zencore.htm

should anyone want to glance in. Zencore is nominated for a Bram Stoker award now, which is all pretty decent...
