Most excellent. He suggested a couple of minor revisions otherwise the story was accepted as was. Communication was spot-on, too, which is always nice...

Thanks, Fran... hugs from this way too... Darrell, Des is being less harsh with Zencore - with the previous Nemos, both titles and authors remained anonymous until much later. A great idea, I think, very unusual. Des is giving away free Nemos here... http://www.ookami.co.uk/forumpage/viewtopic.php?t=3323 and here... http://www.ttapress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=279&start=0 if anyone fancies applying for one. I have all the previous issues (apart from six, which was not only anonymous but didn't actually contain any pages either, which is about as surreal a publication as you can imagine) and they're all worth reading... -------------------- |

Zencore is defrocked...
I can now reveal my story was Mary's Gift, the Stars, and Frank's Pisser, which is all rather charming, I suppose... It was well received in reviews and won an honourable mention in the Year's Best Fantasy and Horror -------------------- |
